“Silence is a source of Great Strength.” ~ Lao Tzu There is so much noise and so many thoughts in my head, but when I find a quiet place and settle my mind down. I arrive at a place of silence and stillness. My daily meditation practice allows me to go to that place of silence and the great strength that Lao Tzu talks about in this quote. The Universe provides me with direction and answers to my questions during this quieter time because the incessant noise and daily concerns have slipped away and I can hear more clearly. Do you find time for silence in your life?

My favorite silent time is first thing in the morning before anyone else is awake and no phone calls, texts or doorbells. Very early. It always ends too soon. It is becoming very important to me to have this time. Sometimes I meditate and sometimes I journal. Ahhh... Silence is Golden.
