Giclées and Photo Art
Tucson Arizona artist, Peggy Steffens, provides links to Giclées of paintings and Photo Art creations. In addition to being an artist, Peggy is also a photographer. She takes her original photographs and uses digital processing and artistic programs to create painterly photography art. Click on any of the pieces to see a larger image of the Giclées. If you have questions or comments about any of the art, feel free to contact her on the Contact Page.
Giclées are printed using pigment-based inks at a resolution of at least 300 dots per inch on acid-free archival paper. Giclées using pigment-based inks (rather than the dye-based inks found in most inkjet printers) have a long lifespan, lasting anywhere from 100 to 200 years without significant fading.
