Paula Costello, Laurie May, Kris Reenstjerna, Eliane Stefango and Peggy Steffens attended the Lutheran Retreat Center, Holden Village, in the Cascade Mountains of Washington. They found community, friendship, love and God's beauty in the remote destination detached from the stresses of everyday life.

Prayer of Farewell for Those Departing
O God, you have called your servants
to ventures of which we cannot see the ending,
by paths as yet untrodden,
through perils unknown.
Give us faith to go out with good courage,
not knowing where we go,
but only that your hand is leading us
and your love supporting us;
thought Jesus Christ our Lord.
