Sweetwater Wetlands Outdoor Photography Workshop
This course is an outdoor field experience at Sweetwater Wetlands in Tucson, Arizona. Sweetwater Wetlands provides an outdoor classroom with an urban wildlife habitat. It is located between I-10 and the Santa Cruz River, near Prince Road. We will focus on techniques for capturing landscapes, critters and closeup images. We will help you design artistic compositions to express your unique story to others. Anyone can take a snapshot, but if you want to learn to capture great photos that you can be proud of, this workshop is for you.
Participants can use any camera; iPhone, Android, DSLR, Point and Shoot. You must know how to use your camera.
Peggy Steffens, Ron Shannon and Bill Walther will have scouted out the best locations for you to make the most of this wildlife habitat .

Anyone with a camera! This workshop is open to beginner and intermediate photographers who will be using their camera of choice. It is expected that participants will know how to use their camera's features and understand the basics of composition. During the photo shoot, Ron Shannon, Peggy Steffens and Bill Walther will guide you through Sweetwater Wetlands and provide instruction on planning, composing and shooting nature and landscape photographs. The instruction will be provided on what to shoot and how to compose your shot, it will not involve instruction on the use of your personal camera.

How much does the course cost?
The cost is $50 for the course. Payment can be made by cash or check at class. If you have previouisly taken a class with us and you refer a friend or family member who then takes a class, you will receive $10 off a future class registration fee.
What do I need to do before the class begins?
Get your camera ready, make sure you know how to take pictures, a fully charged battery, and plenty of storage space on your phone or memory card.
