Visual Meditation – We will practice a Drishti meditation, which is an open-eyed form of meditation, where you softly focus your gaze on an object while turning your attention inward.

Sound Meditation – We will discuss chanting meditations and listen to a variety of chants from artists including Deva Premal, Beth Nielson Chapman and Krishna Das.  You will experience how sound reverberates through your body and connects you to a deeper level of being.

Walking Meditation – We will discuss walking meditations and examine the ideas of Thich Nhat Hanh and Mark Coleman as we practice being mindful with movement.
Supplemental Workshops
Make Each Day Precious: A Journey Within Retreat - During this day-long workshop, we will spend the day in self-reflection using journaling and other tools. Part of the day will be set in silence  for inner reflection and finding peace. There will be many activities and Peggy will be talking during the day as she leads you in a guided meditations and provides prompts for journaling.  Each workshop will have a theme. This is a fabulous way to pamper your body, mind and spirit.
Seven Spiritual Laws of Success - Each class will focus on one of Dr. Deepak Chopra's Seven Spiritual Laws of Succes, which are simple yet powerful principles to help you create success in all areas of your life. The class will include background information, the chakra associated with the law, time for personal reflection and journaling, and end with a guided meditation. The Laws are:
  • The Law of Pure Potentiality
  • The Law of Giving
  • The Law of Karma or Cause and Effect
  • The Law of Least Effort
  • The Law of Intention and Desire
  • The Law of Detachment
  • The Law of Dharma or Purpose in Life

Soul Questions Workshop - Prior to each meditation, we ask ourselves the four soul questions and then release them before going into meditation to allow the Universe to work out the details.  In this 4-part course, you will be guided to journal and reflect at a deeper level about each Soul question and then be led in a guided meditation. The four Soul Questions are:
  • Who Am I?
  • What do I want?
  • What is my Dharma or Purpose?
What am I grateful for?
