Iphoneography: Creating Artistic Photographs: Portrait Photography
What you will learn in this iPhone Photography Course
After completing this course, you will be able to express your creativity and photographic style using your Apple iPhone and/or Apple iPad.
By applying some basic principles of portrait photography during class, you will begin to shoot incredible photos that are worthy of framing and use for website Bios and more. Additionally, you will be introduced to a variety of Portrait Camera and Editing apps that you can see in action before you decide to purchase them from the App Store. After taking this class you will easily take and edit a typical portrait shot into a more interesting and artistic photograph.
Peggy Steffens, Ron Shannon, and Bill Walther will lead you through step-by-step instructions and provide you time to practice what you have just learned. They will help you discover how to use pre-editing and post editing techniques. During this class you will be introduced to, and be provided time to shoot a variety of portraits such as: Traditional Portraits, Environmental Portraits, Candid Portraits, Lifestyle Portraits, and tips will be shared for taking Animal Portraits. Additionally, we will go off site for a "location shoot" to allow you to use a variety of backgrounds to make your portraits stand out!
During class Peggy, Ron, and Bill will demonstrate a variety of portrait cameras and editing apps. If you find one you would like to use, you can purchase it from the App Store before you leave class.
